I will return to get more of this food! The seasoning is perfect the portions are generous and the atmosphere is very friendly and comfortable. Don’t miss this downtown Sanford gem! I chose take out bc I was in a hurry but it’s very nice for eat in as well.

Saw this place while looking for parking. Decided to give a try and it was above my expectations. I order a lunch, a special of jerk chicken, the chicken with flavor and cooked to the point. I also had rice and beans with some oxtail vinaigrette. The vinaigrette gravy more flavor and then topped it up with some plantains. Good cheap lunch. I will be coming back to try more food.

I’ve had history eating pork and ox tail but every time I order from this restaurant they knock it out of the park. The man and lady upfront I believe their names are Ryan and Shadae gave me amazing customer service. The communication from the kitchen staff lead me to believe my meal was being prepared in great and reliable hands. Thank you Isaac, E and the front of house staff for what you do. I’ll be back soon.

Came in to see what they had, and they did not disappoint !!! Got to try the oxtail, it was very tender but I need a little more kick, bonnet pepper maybe idk, but the jerk smell was taking over !! I ordered the large jerk chicken, split it with someone, still had food left over. The chicken was cooked to perfection not that nasty rubbery stuff from golden krust or Bahama breeze. This was real Jamaican rice and peas too !!! Sweet plantain was a little dry but that’s no big deal. And the cabbage was delicious!! Not everyone can pull this off and they did Thank you for making us feel better from HCA

My family loves the food. Especially the stewed chicken. I know this place needs no help from me but I would like to make a suggestion. If you make a couple dinner meals such as stewed chicken or jerk chicken for 10 on a certain day y'all would be non stop. A different option every day for 10 would set a new precedent for your income. It can be a smaller than normal dinner meal. We have had stewed chicken a few times and when the sauce is thick that is our favorite. Thank you for providing our favorite, perfectly spiced food. We would go here every day if we could.

I’m on vacation and this is the only Caribbean: /Jamaican restaurant open on a Sunday. It smells pretty good in here and I can’t wait to try the food. I got the large jerk and large curry chicken meal with 2 tingz and left 20% tip for about 32. If your passing through Sanford on the way to beach stop here.

I'm giving 5 stars here because it's exactly what you want from a Jamaican restaurant. The food was fresh and very flavorful. I tried the Mac n cheese, and it didn't disappoint. The jerk pork was very good. I do wish it was more meat than fat. It felt like the ratio was off but not enough to lower my rating. Will definitely be going back to try other menu items.

Thank you for the great service and great food. I ordered ox tail combo with rice and beans and cabbage. It was very filling and full of flavor. The beef patties were crispy on the outside and full of spicy beef on the inside. We also ordered the beef stew and was beyond delicious! The beef was so tender and the gravy should be bottled and sold in stores. Great experience! I highly recommend!
